trackr is a trading journal, in closed alpha. This notice says what it collects, who else can see it, and how to have it deleted.
What we collect
When you ask for access: your email address, which broker you use, what you trade, and how long you have been trading.
When you have an account: your email address, a hashed password, and an optional display name and avatar.
What you journal: the trades, positions and screenshots you enter or import.
Who else processes it
Vercel hosts the site. Neon stores the database, in the United States. Resend sends account email and keeps delivery logs for 30 days. Upstash holds rate-limit counters, keyed by hashed values, which is the only reason your IP address is processed at all. Cloudinary stores screenshots and avatars. Proton provides the mailbox you can write to.
Screenshots are read on our own servers
A picture of your brokerage account is never sent to a third-party model provider. trackr runs its own text recognition, which holds no database credential and sees one image and nothing else.
No tracking
There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party script anywhere on this site. One cookie keeps you signed in, and nothing else is stored in your browser.
How long it is kept
A screenshot attached to a trade is the evidence behind it, so it is kept for the life of the account. A picture attached to nothing (a screenshot you uploaded and never saved or shared and never journalled, or a profile picture you replaced or removed) is deleted 30 days after it last arrived. A waitlist entry is kept until an invite is sent, or until you ask for it to be removed.
Deleting your data
Profile → Erase account removes your account and your journal at once, and your screenshots and profile picture within two days. It can’t be undone. A database backup taken before you erase can still hold your data until that backup is deleted.
trackr keeps a record of when an erasure happened and how much it removed. It holds an internal id, never your email, name or trades.
If you’re on the waitlist without an account, or can’t sign in, write to trackrtrading@proton.me and say what you want removed. That is done by hand within 30 days.
This will change
trackr is early, and this notice will be revised as it grows. The date above is the revision you are reading.
