Terms of use

Last updated October 11, 2026

trackr is a record-keeping tool for your own trading, offered free and by invitation while it is in closed alpha. These are the terms you accept when you open an account.

This is not financial advice

trackr records trades you have already made and reports on them. Nothing it shows is investment, tax or financial advice, and no figure it produces is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.

Check the numbers before you rely on them

Every figure is derived from what you import or type. Broker exports are inconsistent, parsers have gaps, and trackr refuses rows it cannot read rather than guessing at them. So a journal can be incomplete without being wrong.

Reconcile against your broker’s own statements before filing a return or making a decision that depends on the total. trackr gives no warranty that any figure is accurate or complete.

What the alpha means

Features will change and some will be removed. There is no uptime commitment. Data can be lost, and access can end, yours or everyone’s, with little notice.

Keep your broker exports. They are the real backup, and re-importing them is the recovery path.

Your account

Journal your own trading, one account per person. Do not attempt to reach another user’s data, and do not use trackr to store anything you do not have the right to hold. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself.

Liability

trackr is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, tax consequences, lost profits or lost data arising from using it. It is a free tool and the limits are what you would expect of one.
